Fourth Grade

Ms. Nixon's 4th graders designed and built mini obstacle courses for our 2nd graders to play.

Ms. Nixon's 4th graders enjoyed solving puzzles and using clues to figure out who stole Rudolph's nose!

They also played a reindeer game where they had to blow up balloons, tie them off, and stuff them into the legs of pantyhose to create "antlers" that stand up like Rudolph! The fastest team wins.

And the winners are...Livi, Austin, Henry and Juliet!!!  WAY TO GO TEAM!

Ms. Nixon's 4th graders had fun collaborating to complete a haunted mission that included Pigpen & Polybius ciphers, Morse code, and cryptograms, all while learning a few spooky facts about Halloween along the way!  I'm happy to report they successfully completed the mission and unlocked the haunted mansion!

Students enjoyed our virtual field trip with the International Spy Museum in Washington, D.C. today!  Teams had to crack several codes in order to find the mole.

Ms. Nixon's 4th graders worked as effective team members on our "Magic Carpet Ride" challenge.

Ms. Nixon's 4th graders competed in a “Team Building Escape Room” challenge.  I’m happy to report all teams ESCAPED! :)
