Mrs. Powell

Dear parents and students,

                  First let me say that I am very excited to be serving your student in the Target program this year! If you are new to King Springs I would like to welcome you and your child.  If you were already part of our family, welcome back!

                  For those who may not know me, here is a little bit of my background. I have my Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and and am currently working on my specialist degree in Elementary Education. I have been teaching for 20 years, mostly in 1^st and 4^th grades. This is my third year teaching in the Target program.  My husband and I live here in Smyrna and have three children ages 13, 10, and 8. We are very active in the Smyrna community and I love seeing King Springs families out and about.
                I will be at the 3-5 campus Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday this year and will be working with 4th grade Target students as well as 4th  grade talent development. On Wednesday I will travel to the K-2 campus and work with 1/2 grades doing collaboration.
